RAGING SPEEDHORN Cancel U.K. Tour
March 9, 2004Britain's RAGING SPEEDHORN have been forced to pull out of their planned U.K. tour "due to unavoidable recording commitments," according to a post on the group's web site. "The band are extremely sorry but the new recordings are taking longer than anyone thought and we are working to some pretty harsh deadlines. It looks as though the tour will now take place in May with a big support bill. All tickets should be valid at the rearranged dates, or refunds available."
RAGING SPEEDHORN will issue a collection of live and demo recordings, aptly titled "Live and Demos", on March 15 through Grand Recordings. The band, who recently replaced founding member/guitarist Tony Loughlin with ex-DEFENESTRATION axeman Jaye Thompson, have signed a new deal with SPV Records following their split with the ZTT label. A new studio album on SPV will be released later in the year.
